Firestop Service and Maintenance Program

PREVENT Life Safety Services offers programs for preserving the integrity of your facility’s fire walls to help you maintain ongoing compliance with facility life safety codes. By using PREVENT Life Safety Services to find and address your fire wall penetrations on a regular basis, you’ll never have to worry about being cited when it comes time for your inspection or being protected in case of a fire. Our certified technicians will provide you with a professional firestop service using the correct UL systems as required by the International Building Code (IBC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Code 101. Monthly and Quarterly Programs

PREVENT will help you to establish a firestop service plan to address firestopping issues. We can help identify certain zones, floors, or buildings and address firestopping needs on a monthly or quarterly basis. We can also help create/maintain an above-ceiling access permit program. We always ensure that your fire walls are properly sealed using the appropriate UL systems and materials, and provide you with detailed reports of our firestopping service, including before and after pictures, for you to review work that’s been done and to provide documentation when it’s time for your life safety code inspection.
