Fire Door Repairs
NFPA 80 and NFPA 101 require annual fire door inspections and reporting, but they also require your fire doors to be maintained and in proper working condition at all times. Even in newer construction, the consistent use of fire doors can wear the fire door assembly down quickly and leave the doors in need of repair.
In order for a fire door to operate successfully, the entire fire door assembly must be maintained and repaired on a regular basis. Should any problems exist on your fire doors, "they must be repaired without delay" or your building may be cited during an AHJ inspection and the lives of your building occupants and emergency personnel could be at risk in the event of a fire.
PREVENT Life Safety Services has the fire door expertise to ensure your fire doors are repaired correctly. Our field technicians are well versed in fire door hardware and will ensure that your fire doors are repaired properly and are ready to operate successfully in either an AHJ inspection or an actual fire. We have years of experience in fire doors and we have recently expanded our fire door team with more seasoned fire door experts.
