Air Duct Cleaning Procedures
During the air duct cleaning process, your HVAC system is placed under continuous negative pressure by our 2500 CFM HEPA collection devices. Technicians begin cleaning all interior surfaces in the direction of air flow using mechanical agitation, contact vacuuming, and a combination of brushes and power whips. Any inline reheat coils, VAV boxes, etc will be cleaned along with the ductwork. All registers, grilles, or diffusers will be washed, dried and reinstalled. All supply registers are temporarily filtered off prior to the start of cleaning so that any contaminants discharged during cleaning are trapped in the filter.
If the air handling unit is part of the project scope, we will vacuum all interior surfaces and clean all coils and condensation pans as needed. We are also able to repair and coat insulation, replace or clean rusted materials, and refurbish condensation pans.
